Oxford Castle Jubilee weekend – Craft Superheroes

HMMCSatOCBBW

We defied the British weather to celebrate the Jubilee at Oxford Castle on Sunday June 3rd. Despite the drizzle we had a great day and the castle complex was full of activity with The Big Lunch and OxFringe previews going on as well.

But, of course, the best thing about the whole event were our craft superheroes! So we thought it was only fair to share a bit about each of them – you can visit them all by clicking on their wonderful pictures!

Beadydelicious

Letitia Gibbons runs Beadydelicious from her small studio in Oxfordshire and creates gorgeous necklaces, bracelets, earrings and accessories using amazing high quality ingredients. We especially love her knitted cuff and this fabric and wood bead necklace.

Foot Fetish Socks

Charmaine Diepgrond is starting a ‘Soxual revolution’ and we are right on board with her! Her handmade socks, gloves, belts and blankets are the perfect antidote to boring mass produced versions and she even bought her vintage loom with her – a gorgeous sight.
